Obwananyini Kutaka
Obwananyini Kutaka is a project designed by ALED to advocate and promote for the land rights of women, orphans and other marginalized communities in Municipalities.
On the 27th July ,2022 the local council leaders, village leadership committee, security, office of the resident district commissioner, land committee leaders, religious leaders ,civil society, cultural institution, some opinion leaders and media on the community were engaged in obwananyini Kutaka forum(Land ownership ).
-The cultural institution invited ALED for partners in promoting obwananyini Kutaka project.
-Information on documentation and registration of women’s land .
-Big media presence enabled the women to get space where views on land conflicts and ownership is concerned in the Municipality.
